Tuesday 7:30pm EST

Session 1 : Aug 27st

Session 2 : Sep 3rd

Session 3 : Sep 10th

Growing up in the melting pot can be confusing when you’re a mix of a few ingredients. Were your parents immigrants? Are you one? How do you juggle with that side of you with your more Western facing side? We want to hear about that journey.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and National Certified Counselor. I am also a Registered Play Therapist. I have dual licensure in State of Washington and Hawaii. I hold membership in Association for Play Therapy. I currently serve on the board for Washington Association for Play Therapy. I have been in the mental health field since 2003, serving children and families. Prior to coming to Washington state, I worked at non- profit mental health agencies in Hawaii and California, and finally started my private practice in 2010. I specialized in Play Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I offer individual counseling with children ages 1- 6 years old, parents, and adults who may be experiencing some anxiety, depressive symptoms, stress, life transitions, acculturation issues, self-esteem, and relationship issues. I work with parents from attachment and strength-based perspectives by looking at the child's and parents' strengths, and the attachment between them.
