Personal Statement

We are a neuropsychology practice that specializes in providing assessments for adults 16 and up. Our providers have been in clinical practice for over 35 years. The range of presenting issues for assessment include ADHD, Dementia, short-term memory changes, concentration difficulties, depression/anxiety, substance use, traumatic brain injury, learning disability, occupational/educational difficulties, movement disorders, stroke, seizure disorders, multiple sclerosis, other psychiatric disorders, and other contributing factors that affect day to day functioning. Patients are either referred by their physicians or are self-referred.

Neuropsychological evaluation is a set of diagnostic interviews and test procedures used to assess cognitive and baseline functioning. It makes use of standardized tests to measure mental abilities including attention, concentration, memory and learning, language, visual-spatial abilities, organization, planning, problem solving, and executive functioning.

The pattern of cognitive strengths and weaknesses can be diagnostic and often correlates with specific regions of the brain. Neuropsychological evaluation can help clarify the effects of the disorder on cognitive functioning and is helpful in developing specific recommendations for treatment and rehabilitation.

Personal Statement

I am a clinician with a Doctorate in Psychology specializing in Clinical Neuropsychology. I provide neuropsychological assessment for adults ages 17 and up under the supervision of a licensed psychologist and am in the pre-licensure stage. I have received specialized training in this area in diverse settings including private practice, larger out-patient settings, and the VA Healthcare system. The range of presenting issues for pursuing assessment can include ADHD, Dementia, short-term memory changes, depression/anxiety, substance abuse, traumatic brain injury, learning disability, occupational or educational difficulties, movement disorders, stroke, cardiovascular disease, seizure disorders, multiple sclerosis, other psychiatric disorders. Patients are usually self-referred or are referred by primary care providers, neurologists, and psychiatrists.

A neuropsychological evaluation consists of clinical interviews and test procedures. By gathering all the relevant information in an objective yet compassionate manner, I hope to assist my patients by providing them with information and knowledge that will positively influence their day-to-day functioning and improve in the areas where they experience the most struggle. Knowledge is considered a form of power and the information that one can gain from an neuropsychological evaluation can have meaningful impacts for not only the patient but their family.

If you are looking to clarify the struggles you may be having with your concentration, focus, and/or memory: neuropsychology can help. If you are wondering whether you have ADHD or some other form of attention-based disorder, neuropsychology can help. If you are worried about developing dementia and wish to take precautionary measures, neuropsychology can help. Please contact our office to learn more about the evaluation process and how we may best be able to serve your needs. Also speak Gujarati
