It takes strength and courage to ask for support and sometimes the hardest thing to do is to take the first step. I recognize this challenge and the strength it takes to look at oneself, which is why I strive to create a safe and collaborative therapeutic space. During the therapeutic process, I help clients tell their story and create meaning from their life experiences, in order to regain their identity and start feeling good about themselves again.
I work with adults to address life satisfaction, anxiety, depression, identity, and relationship problems. I enjoy working with parents on achieving work/life balance, and on family/parenting concerns. I also have a speciality in working with trauma and abuse. My role is to help individuals navigate their path toward personal growth and self-awareness.
I utilize a holistic approach to therapy, and use evidence based techniques from cognitive behavioral, mindfulness, and solution-focused therapy, I work with clients to promote awareness of their thoughts and feelings, and identify patterns and problematic beliefs. As therapy progresses, you will find yourself acting with greater intention and feeling more empowered and fulfilled!
