Catastrophizing is a mental trap that happens when we assume the worst is happening or about to happen. However, we can mitigate its effect by challenging the logic.

Think of one example during the past week where you assumed the worst was likely to happen. What actually happened? How could it have been worse? Take a moment to appreciate that it wasn't worse.
